Liz Rice is the VP Open Source Engineering at Aqua Security focused on containers, cloud native technologies, security and distributed systems. Liz leads a team at Aqua Security building open source security tools for the cloud native ecosystem, and is currently chair of the Technical Oversight Committee of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) . In this episode we talk about Liz's path to her current position at Aqua and her role with the Technical Oversight Committee with the CNCF. Liz and I discussed overall container security/kubernetes security along with her two books (links below). We even discuss our competition for a very coveted title!
